With over 75 years experience behind us, we at A.G. Major Engineering Solutions have turned metal spinning into a fine art. High levels of craftsmanship have always been our trade mark and the same is true today. These are skills which are being demanded by an increasingly diverse range of industry. Our early reputation in the metal spinning business was built on spinning the housings for "Tannoy" speaker systems. Since then we have developed a wide range of components for a wide range of industries including lamps and light fittings, Hi Fi equipment, electronics, satellite dishes for the Aerospace industry, cases and missiles for defence, medical instruments and parts for artificial limbs, general engineering and the building trade.

We work in virtually all materials, from the commonly used, such as aluminium, copper, brass, mild and stainless steel to specialised materials like nilo K, mumetal, nickel and all precious metals. We can produce products up to 47" (1193.8mm) diameter in small or large batches. A team of highly skilled operators uses a combination of special hand operated and hydraulic lathes, plus modern high technology PNC & CNC machines working to critical accuracy requirements.
